The shelf in the back is from ikea and holds all our recipe books, a microwave, computer printer and vintage mushroom canisters filled with baking ingredients. The orange floral splash of color in the background is a vintage shade that was left behind in an old house I used to own in Pittsburgh. The framed artwork on the wall is an amazing woodcut print from an artist who used to live across the street from me in Pittsburgh. Their work can be found on Etsy at tugboatprintshop.etsy.com.

New shelves and drawer installed in the kitchen where the dryer used to be. Our new microwave on top, a short shelf for cookie pans (there aren’t any vertical spaces for those in this kitchen – odd), and a pull-out drawer for cleaning supplies. It’s dreamy. Eric did all this work (with some help from Ikea).
